Last year, starting from “Design Crossing Boundaries,” we worked together to break through the barriers of industry and perception. Now, as boundary-breaking becomes the norm, we have begun to ask: What is the  mission of design? This is how “Design for Growth” was born—an inevitable evolution from deconstruction to construction. It is the “root” we firmly anchor in the fertile soil of our industry, and the “leaves” that have always grown upward in exploration. In 2026, CIFF Shanghai looks forward to growing together with every professional in the field, bearing fruits worthy of our passion.

以东方的气韵与自然为灵魂，以西方的秩序与结构为骨架，融合中国多民族纹样的生命力，与西方几何、装饰与现代主义语言，构建出一幅“融合时代的文化图景”。

吸纳互联网、新媒体、参数化设计、太空探索、虚拟世界、AI智慧、生物多样性共生、交通创新、都市生活与可持续发展的时代能量，重新绘制一套属于当下与未来的“祝福纹样”。

With the spirit of Eastern natural aesthetics as its soul and the order and structure of the West as its framework, this vision merges the vitality of China's multi-ethnic patterns with Western geometric, decorative, and modernist languages, constructing a "cultural landscape of the fusion era."

It absorbs the energies of our time—the internet, new media, parametric design, space exploration, virtual worlds, AI intelligence, biodiversity symbiosis, transportation innovation, urban life, and sustainable development—to redraw a set of "blessing patterns" that belong to both the present and the future.
